Our Program

Why Choose Ridgeline Doodles?

Our family is dedicated to our puppies, our dogs, and our clients. Together we have a strong education loving background and we are dedicated to sharing our knowledge and experience with anyone who inquires. Our family strives to guide and educate our clients in every way for LIFE. Once you take home one of our puppies, you are part of the tribe and have us beside you every step of the way.

Health & Genetics

Healthy successful puppies come from happy, healthy, tested and proved parents. Our parent dogs are first and foremost a family member. When we are confident that their temperament meets our goals and has been proven to be an excellent example of their breed, we then go further and complete the DNA and Orthopedic testing. Be sure to check out our Parent page for more information on each sire and dam.

Strong Family Ethics

Our dogs live in our home and are treated as family. Therefore our puppies are raised right here in the heart of our home. They hear us wash dishes, see us fold laundry, and feel the ground shake as fur and human feet fly through the house. This family home dynamic makes for a well adjusted puppy who can transition easily right into your own heart and home.

Effectively Socialized Puppies

Puppy socialization is an ongoing and continuous endeavor, but we hit the ground running on day three of life. We utilize a proven puppy centered curriculum starting with ENS (Early Neurological Introduction) , ESI (Early Scent Introduction), and the Empowered Breeder curriculum. All of these individual programs combined inside of a loving home atmosphere accomplish our goal of cultivating our puppies into your new best friend.

We're In Your Corner

The relationship with our puppies and our clients does not end when you step out the door and drive away with your new baby. It has just begun! We are here for you when you have joyous moments of mastering tricks, anxious times when your pup might have an upset tummy, and those proud feelings when your pup brings a smile to someone in need. All of our clients are important to us; past, present, and future.

How do you handle transportation for out-of-town puppy buyers?

We can assist with arranging transportation for out-of-town buyers through car to car meet up or a flight nanny service, additional fees do apply.

What if I can no longer care for the puppy?
When you purchase a puppy/dog from us they will always have a home for life. This meaning, if ever you can no longer keep them, we their breeder, will always accept them back. This applies to any puppy/dog purchased from us at any age and at any point in time.
Do you provide any training resources for new puppy owners?
Yes, we offer a complimentary PDF booklet of basic training and care to all of our new families. In addition, we offer a coupon code for a lifetime membership to the online puppy school Baxter and Bella.
Are your puppies crate-trained or house-trained?
Our puppies are introduced to crate-training starting at 5 weeks old and house-training with litter pellets at 4 weeks, as part of their early development, which can greatly facilitate their transition to their new homes.
What's the process for selecting a puppy from a litter?

Once each litter has reached around 4 weeks old and we are confident in their health, stability, coat color, coat type, eye color, and approximate size, our families waiting on our Master list will get the opportunity to select their new puppy. If there are more puppies than families ready to make their selection, the remaining available puppies will be open to the public for immediate claiming.

Common Questions from Future Puppy Parents

We understand that bringing a new puppy into your home is a big decision. Here are some answers to questions we often receive from potential puppy owners.

Heartwarming Stories from Our Puppy Families

We highly recommend Ridgeline Doodles. We bought our sweet Molly from them. She has the best personality and is absolutely beautiful. They are always quick to answer any questions we have before and after getting Molly.

Whitney E.

If we get another dog I would gladly choose here! Such a sweet family who truly cares about these sweet dogs. The care given is amazing! Any questions I had, and still have, are answered quickly and with kindness.

Sarah H.

We brought our sweet Auggie home a little less than 3 weeks ago and we just absolutely love him! The property that they raise the puppies on was absolutely beautiful and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better puppy or experience!

How It Works

Reservation Fee

A $500 fee is paid to reserve (applied to total purchase price). We have opted to shift to a single master list for all of our puppies; including Aussiedoodles and Aussie Mtn Doodles of all sizes.

Reservation Process

When a family/person makes a reservation, they are placed next in line on the master list. The top 2 spots on the master list are occupied by us, Ridgeline Doodles. We are always on the hunt for the next generation of parent dogs, but many times we do not use our spots, and in that case, we just continue down the list offering puppies to families below us.

Flexibility

The master list allows families to watch the litter and their growth before deciding whether to claim a chosen puppy or pass on the litter and wait for the next up and coming litter of puppies- ensuring they never lose their place in line.

Puppy Selection

We will open up the litter to master list selection when the puppies reach 4-5 weeks old. Depending on the litter, the clients waiting, and the possible need for genetic testing- the time for choosing will vary in the 4th or 5th week of life.

Please note: While your reservation fee is nonrefundable, we do allow your reservation to be inactive for as long as 12 months from date of joining. If you have applied your reservation to a chosen puppy, Breeder must be notified of the intent to return to master list by the time the puppy turns 7 weeks of age (49 days old.)

All puppies are placed on a strict spay/neuter contract through SpaySecure. Females are required to be sterilized by 8 months, and males are due by 12 months.
